I love sangria! After the week I’ve had, I may have to whip up a pitcher of this recipe this weekend.

When a recipie calls for “dry white wine” what is the best kind to use? I love a good sauvignon blanc. Can I use that?

For the sangria, don’t worry about paying more for a wine you really like; you won’t taste it. Pinot Grigio, Pinot Gris or Sauvignon Blanc will all be good. If you go with a Reisling you can use less sugar. (Cheap Reislings are sweet.) Use an under $10 wine for the Sangria! Enjoy!!!
(PS: if you have a Trader Joe’s nearby try the Sangria with TJ’s $5 or $6 Proseco – it’s Italian sparkling wine – WONDERFUL!!!)
